What is POBuk.com?

POBuk.com is an online booking despatch solution for Private Hire Operators to network various transfers, wait and returns plus many more trips. We have made the despatch of surplus jobs very easy, safe and reliable by installing "My Operators" This gives you total peace of mind because you can select only the operators whom you know and trust to cover your work. In fact we can tailor make your system to be unique in other ways such as vehicle type, tariff and location.

You can earn better commission when sub-contracting work via the POBuk.com site, because your available operators will continually quote low to win your work as it means they get a back to back or maybe the perfect job to finish an already profitable day.

At POBuk.com, we have recognised that many operators struggle to despatch their surplus workload and often waste time calling other operators who are not available. POBuk.com offers the quick solution by contacting all of your subcontractors in one message allowing those available to come to you whithin minutes. POBuk.com...making despatch easier!

How it works

Once you have subscribed for FREE to POBuk.com (See Subscription), you can start benefiting from our services:

Add a booking: If you have a job that you can’t, or prefer not to fulfil, you can submit it to POBuk.com. You get to set what price all quotes must be below and what duration you want the booking to be available for quoting.

The operators will then quote against each other and your job will get the lowest quote at the end of the set timescale, leaving you with the difference between your set price and the final quoted price…so quite possibly more than the industry standard 15% commission we are all familiar with!

Once your set duration has expired and an operator has successfully quoted the lowest price, you will be contacted by the operator to discuss the full details. At this point you will be charged a small amount. (See Charges). Note: POBuk.com only charge for the above and are NOT involved with the payment of the booking fee at all. The booking fee transaction must be arranged and completed between the two operator parties only.

My Operators feature: This feature allows a posting operator the chance to select exactly who they want to quote for their bookings. They can do this by going to My Account and then selecting My Operators. Here they can tick or untick which operators they want to be able to receive quotes from. If this option is left unticked in Add a Booking, all operators will be able to quote for their work.

Accept Now feature: Posting operators can now accept a quote for their booking without having to wait for it to expire. As long as the booking has received at least one quote they can view the booking and click ‘Accept’.

Quote for a booking: To view and quote for bookings, you must select the areas you cover via My Coverage in My Account. Once set, you will be able to see and get email alerts for bookings in these areas only.

All quotable bookings will be listed in ‘Live Bookings’. If you see a booking that you would like to quote for then you simply enter your price and submit it to POBuk.com. Your quote will only be accepted if it is a) equal or lower than the ‘Quote lower’ price set by the posting operator, and b) if it is lower than any existing quotes. An email will be sent to you once someone has outbid you.

Once the duration for accepting bookings has expired, only the operator with the lowest quote will receive an email with details of the posting operator. They must then contact the posting operator to discuss the full details.

Take Now feature: A quoting operator can now take a booking instantly by selecting this button which automatically gives them the booking for 25% off the original price. TAKE NOW won't take a booking lower than £30. For bookings posted at £30 or less TAKE NOW is set to the posted price to ensure it gets covered.

Charges

The charges are as follows and are only applicable to operators adding bookings that have received valid quotes. Remember, you will set a limit to how high the lowest quote must be for it to be valid. No charges will be incurred if no quotes are valid:

Job Value… £20 - £39… You Pay: £2
Job Value… £40 - £59… You Pay: £3
Job Value… £60 - £79… You Pay: £4
Job Value… over £80… You Pay: £5
Above charges exclude VAT

Subscription

Subscription to POBuk.com is FREE. This will allow you to post for bookings on POBuk.com. You will only be charged for bookings that you have posted that have been accepted. We will notify you of any charges, two weeks before we debit your card.

You can cancel your subscription at anytime, as long as any charges incurred have been paid in full. Just send us an email via the Contacts page to do so. Before you can subscribe you must register your company for consideration, faxing us a copy of your operator license. You must have a valid operator license to use POBuk.com.
